How a transplant is done

Survival depends far more on preparation and aftercare than on the day of lifting.

  • Root ball preparation, wrapping and mechanical lifting with cranes

Permissions

Tree cutting and translocation require permission from the local tree authority or municipal or forest department under applicable State tree preservation law. We prepare the technical documents; the permission is obtained by or on behalf of the project owner.

Frequently asked questions

Do transplanted trees survive?
Many do when the species is suitable, preparation is adequate and aftercare is genuinely carried out for the full establishment period. Species, age, season and post-transplant irrigation decide the outcome; no contractor can honestly promise universal survival.
What is the best season to shift a tree?
Generally the dormant or cooler period before the onset of new flush, avoiding peak summer stress and waterlogged monsoon conditions. The right window varies by species and region.
Do you handle the permissions?
We prepare the technical assessment and documentation required by the tree authority. The application is made by the project owner or by us on their written authorisation.
